Any other tyre come close to F1 GSD3 in the wet?

Toyo are pretty good. Loads of peeps on here run Super Ls, would be interesting to see if they all have the same prob as you. I have heard about the prob before but didn't realise it was due to the wheels.
I'd ask Goodyear for more details to explain their claim. I'm sure OZ would be interested in hearing this too, and would prob give a good argument against their wheel being the cause of the damage.

`cos I sent 4 back to goodyear with splits in the sidewall to be told it was due to the wheel I`m using.
What wheel - OZ supperleggar 17inch......
Basically had F1`s for the last 5 years as I reckon they are excellent on our (mostly wet and slimey) roads.
So anything that comes close? Pirelli Nero? Toyo? New Conti Sport contacts (Previous version of which was lethal in the wet!)....Basically HELP!

Goodyear where fairly open about it. Gave me the number of the British Rubber Association (oh err) , spoke to them as (they can meadiate a claim), who went back to Goodyear for a more indepth analysis and they still stated an issue with the wheel......
Know about toyo`s -good but less grip generally than F1`s and not so good in the dry (?), although that is not the F1`s forte either!

Dont bother with Toyo's if you want wet weather grip as they are putting it nicely Sh#t.
I run 18's and with over 5mm left on the tyres and it twitches like a bitch on any bend in the wet and doesnt inspire confidance.
I've tried different pressures and the allignment is spot on but i wouldnt buy Toyo's again, try the Falken FK451 tyre i had these on 17's before the Toyo's and i will be swapping back to them when these are dead.

In terms of absolute grip the Bridgestone S03 is the best or one of the best (at least according to EVO).
You don't get a lot of notice that they're going to slip or grip though. I was gonna try GSD3s on the front when my rears finally wear out....
