should fit, but may catch on the rear wheel arches, but if really sneaky, try removing the rubber trim on the edge of the arch [ooo, naughty me...!!]

Shouldn't be too hard to shift, they fit, but it depends on someones driving style if it catches or not, there are planty using them, it only really matters for a while anyway, cos when it's time for new tyres, you just put 40's on!

Thumbs up

I've got the same wheels except with 40's, and they don't catch even when towing a caravan, and with two teenage lads in the rear

I fitted Sti8 wheels but they were 225/45/17's and used to catch in the suspension. I thought it was a combination of the 225/45. I opted to reduce both, down to 215/40's and havent had a problem since even with a car full.

I usualy have STI7 wheels on my Clasic with 215/40/17's but ive also got a set of WRX wheels for track days and they dont rub on my car at all with the 215/45/17's on and thats with Ebach springs on.

On an MY00, no probs. I had these fitted by the dealer when i bought mine and havent had any issues at all.

Initially had 215/45/17 fitted and then switched to 215/40/17s ( not for any reason apart from i had 2 goodyears floating around)

Cheers
Rich
