STI7 brakes poor when cold?

Anybody agree with this? they just don't seem to bite - do they not get hot enough on the daily commute? They seem to stop the car but not with the ferosity I was expecting, however I can feel the abs pulse??

Views please??

no probs with mine, feel far better intially than the alcons i had on my p1

Maybe the pads are glazed or your brakes need bleeding.

andy got to agree mate,my jdm 7 still on std pads but nowhere near the "bite"i had on my ap 4 pots on sti 3.could be that i let the misses use the car all week on the school run etc and they develop a glaze on the pads.

So whats the best way to deglaze pads??....

Several hard stops followed by a gentle cooling off period??

Do you need to run in these standard fitment pads?
