Does anyone know if these brakes will fit under Prodrive P1 wheels
(17's)

I've just bought a 2nd hand set and having offered them up,I don't think they're gonna fit

can anyone prove me wrong?...............please?

Jon

Elmer, if fitted correctly, the caliper should not be any nearer the spokes of the wheel than when standard, they obviously get nearer the inner face of the wheel, but I'm sure they should fit, how much clearance is there between the spokes and the caliper normally?? as the caliper is mobved out to fit the bigger discs, Iguess it may get slightly nearer the spokes, cos the spokes are probably curved, but bear in mind, that the caliper is only moving outwards about 10mm, so it's not a million miles!!

I'm sure they'll fit.
Ron.

Edited to add, if you wanna come to the Dorset meet Monday eve, you can put a wheel on my car, over the 335's!!

I have ST2's, but 01 alloys fit fine too!

if you want to wait a while, there's a joint dorset/hants meet at Burley on the 21st, but if you're anything like me, you want them on the car tomorrow!!
edited to say that I'll be working in Totton, week after next, so maybe we could meet up sometime??

I'm not so sure,I've just spent 3 hours under the bluddy thing,I'm as black as the ace of spades..my back is killing me

...think it will need wheel spacers to clear the calipers

Thanks Ron

With the std discs the caliper clears the spokes by about 5mm,
at a guess I would say the Godspeed caliper spacer is about 6mm?

..So I may take you up on your kind offer

Which wheels do you have btw?

Jon
