Have 325mm Godspeed drilled and grooved discs currently with mintex pads. I think they're due for replacement as they've started to droan under any type of braking. However, I find the Mintex pads quite harsh ie plenty of brake dust, squealing when cold.
Can anyone recommend a pad (no EBC's please) to compliment the Godspeed discs, good value, that cuts out the dust and squeals?
Not asking for much......

well Cotex pads will clean the dust but they will still squeal if attached to a woman
Was gonna say EBC as I run EBC myself, but you said you dont want those, everyone says padig pads are good.

nd the Mintex M1144's excellent, even for track work and I worked them hard!
I've got DS2500's in now and they will be due for a tracjk day soon. However, they need bedding in properly and used aggresively otherwise you get an uneven build up of pad material on the discs (even with grooves) which makes them judder like mad.

I'm on my 3rd set of pads (no track days either) in 30k's worth of miles. The kit initially came with EBC's, which IMHO were very poor. I then chose to fit Mintex 1144's, which were OK, but yes gave a lot of dust off. I'm now on 1155's which are way better than the 44's, and can allow you to scrub off the speed pretty rapid. These of course have their downsides also, plenty of brake dust, and lots of squeal when in and around town.
However, these are a couple of sacrifices I'm willing to make, as the pads aren't all that expensive, but they certainly do stop you when required to do so.
