Unhappy

I've recently changed discs and pads and now the brake warning light is constantly on. Is this due to the new brakes or faulty wire? How can it be sorted as I'm selling car very soon.

Check that you have sufficient fluid in the brake reservoir. Also check that the little float hasn't become stuck.

Had this once before on my 95WRX. Just opened the top of the resevoir, proded the float then put the cap back on, was fine after that!

I even had to get my mate to type for me! (Cheers Dave!) Ill have a look at it when I get home from work tonight. (Don't worry, I didnt drive to work!!!)

Have you checked the switch on the handbrake lever?

If the brake fluid level is low, check your brake pads, the more worn the pads, the more brake fluid in the pistons behind them, hence the drop in level.
