Hi,

I'm trying to find a source for brake pads that will fit on the 04 USDM STi?

Does anyone have a picture of their pads or a template they can provide? I'm wondering if UK's will fit the USDM version?

I know this:
Jurid is the OEM manufacturer
Back plate is 5mm thick
Total thickness=14mm (backing plate plus Friction material)
OEM pad won't withstand track temps.

Thanks,

Brian

Sounds exactly like the UK spec pads. A lot of people over here have either fitted Pagid's, or Ferodo DS2500s, as they are better at handlig higher temperatures, and are half the price of the OEM replacements.

You can often find that replacing the fluid with better DOT 4 or DOT5 stuff, and fitting braided steel hoses instead of the rubber ones will give a better pedal feel as well.

Thanks for the help,

Do you happen to have a part# for either of the two brands? Can anyone post a picture of the back plate with measurments?

I'll try calling the vendors also,

Later,

Brian
