95 Jap 5dr - what brake upgrades?
#1
Was up at Knockhill last weekend and now I've got myself some braking issues!
At the mo I'm on standard everything and at the very least I need to fit new pads. Discs are ok (no lip) but look pretty nasty (rust etc)
What would be a sensible upgrade for enthusiastic road use and occasional track days?

Don't know where you source from up there but get something like a Pagid Gp N kit abt £400 inc new front discs, pads and most important - braided brake lines. Made a huge difference to my MY99

subaru four pots are gonna be a helluva lot better than the 2 pots u have now. only problem is they are like rocking horse poo 2nd hand. other alternatives are Brembo/AP discs and calipers, very expensive but regarded by many as the best. Ian Godney does good stuff as well, and AS Performance can supply good gear too. either way its gonna cost at least the thick end of £500 to upgrade (discs, calipers and a good set of pads).
cheers
