I'm after some better brakes for the STi8 jap spec. I know the Brembo's on it are some peoples ideal and there's many out there who like them, but I'm not a fan of them from many a problem with my Evo's.

So experience's / possbile group buys and advice on 4 or 6pot ones with at least 330mm discs - the KAD 330 / 372mm kits, the HI Spec kit, TSL kit, Godspeed ones and any other that people have, although I know the AP's are good, just very expensive!

Cheers!

i can recommend the tsl 6 pot conversion, had mine fitted bout a month ago. 335mm discs using ferodo ds2500 pads. excellent stopping power. I also looked at the ap setup but that was just too much money for me!!

I also ahve the TSL 6-pot 355 kit on my MY01. Excellent stopping power (there always seems to me more stopping power in reserve), it has improved the pedal feel brilliantly, they are really confidence inspiring, not been on track but there is no hint of fade and when warm they are awesome.

The bells are bolted to the disks (if that makes them 2-peice). I was not dissappointed and Graham at TSL wouldn't let me leave until he/I was happy. They should also allow you to trade in your old brakes. Graham has an MY03 STi which he was going to fit his brake kit to. Not sure if its doen yet but you could give them a call for a demo.

Yeah there 2 piece discs, cost me £1300 fitted they did me an exchange on my standard 4 pots so should have been £1500. Can't fault them at all. took longer than expected to fit them but they would'nt let me go till they were completely happy with the setup. Quality service!
