Just got some new Potenzas SO3s put on the front of a UK MY00 turbo; (backs had 6mm or so left, otherwise I'd have got Proxes or F1s).

How many miles before the releasing compound wears off and how long before they scrub in properly?

Or is it too variable on batch/road surfaces/weather/driving style to say?

A few donuts in Halfords carpark should work if you're impatient, otherwise general concensus is between 500 and 1000 fairly steady miles.
