Thumbs up

I've just got a set of these boots for my STI RA, has anyone got any experience of these, tyre pressures etc? and has anyone used them on the road?

Cheers
Dom.

Would also be interested in this info

Just been offered 4 brand new for £400 so it'd be rude not to. Do they come in different compounds? If so any recommendations?

Would be interested in where you got them from. I cant find a supplier for these anywhere.

They are very good tyres, have also been told they are good in the wet.

I brought mine nearly new, like you say Dan I couldn't find anyone that stocks them! I've emailed Dunlop direct 3 times and have never recieved a reply.

£400 for 4 x new tyres is good value, what size are they?

Place in Birmingham, M R Tyres (Motorsport) Ltd, just round the corner from the factory sells them and can get them next day delivery. Give Daniel Jeffs a bell on 0121-359-6625, very helpful guy. They will be away tomorrow on a rally.

Scooby size is about£130+VAT per tyre, should have mentioned, mine are on a Skoda

Yours may be for a Sokda, but mine are going on a tiny little 1.3 ltr.

I've read a bit of info. on these tyres, I have a large 'S' on mine so I guess it might be a soft compound! Also, as far as I can see a set of 4 215/45 - 17's will cost about £600!

These are the tyres they use in most one make car race series, like clio cup etc!

I'm going to stick mine on next week for a couple of days to see how they work on the road!......if it's dry!

I've gotta get 2 * 235/45/17 and 2 * 255/40/17.

My little 1.3ltr just had some big rimms fitted by the last owner. Cant think why he would want more grip. Must be those turbos fitted as standard.

I used to own a twin turbo 1.3 that put out about 320bhp...very tasty.

But sadly due to rubbish rear tyres, no traction control and my mate showing off to his new girlfriend the car is no longer with us!!!

It still ranks as one of my favorite drivers cars.
