Question

I need my front pads replacing on my std MY99 4 pots. I'm thinking of replacing these with Pagid Black - RS4-2-1 pads. Are these ok with the std disks as in some previous threads I have seen some talk of needing better disks. Also anyone know the cheepest place to get these.

Thanks

Nick

I have just replaced front disks and pads on my MY01 WRX With pagid 8 groove disks and rs4-2 pads. I already have goodridge hoses and dot 5.1 brake fluid. Brakes are just soooooo much better all for under £400. Done almost 1000mls no squeal very little brake dust compared with subaru pads. My car now has the brakes to match performance. Still plenty of meat left on the rears, i will replace them with pagid disks and pads once worn.

you shouldn't have any issues with the rs4.2.1 as they are designed primarily as a hi-perf. road pad......O.E. spec for various Porshe, Ferrari, Aston Martin, etc.......
excellent all round improvement over std, hassle free upgrade!!
