Earls braided brake lines

anybody fitted these?
i did today and found that they have no fittings for the bottom of the shocker.
the hose has been passed through the hole at the bottom of the shocker and the small yellow plastic sheath with earls stamped on it was placed around the shocker hole to protect the brake line.
then i used a few zip ties to stop the brake line from moving
is there another way to fit these?
lack of any kind of instructions led to the current method.

we only supply "goodridge" kits for this very reason.......
the "earls" kits are cheaper but lack the centre locator for the shock body and you end up with exactly as you have done......would normally recomend forgetting passing the line thro' the shocker lug and just "tie-wrap" the line to the lower shocker body (to avoid chafing the line)...........make sure you leave enough "free" line to take account of full droop & lock to lock movement of the wheel!!

i had never heard of Earls brake lines, so b4 i actualy bought them i asked a few people and was told they had a thicker hose wall which reduced flexing even more, this is suposedly over the goodridge kit.
i will keep an eye on the hoses, it wont be to much of a problem to cut a slot in the shocker and move the hose outside if need be
is there anything in the mot about hoses ziptied to shocks that could cause it to fail?
