i seem to have problems cleaning the front wheels as the brake dust seems to have hardened on the surface, if i leave my wheels unattended for more than 4 days. Alcons were already on the car when i brought it.

I've managed to to remove the brake dust with the help of wonder wheels but aren't keen to use it all the time........now i wipe the wheels once a day.....its such a hassle......

anyone had this problem ??

Thumbs up

Yep, same prob.
It does help if you use a good polish on the wheels, and keep 'em polished....the braske dust comes off that much easier.

Lightbulb

Use Turtle Wax 'Gloss Guard' Top Coat sealer this is excelent stuff, then just soap and HW once or twice a week, when it gets grubby then use Amourall foam and a sponge, used this combination on my last BM with 18" from new 3years old and it did 120k with the wheels still looking like new!

hope this helps
