Hi,

Just fitted O.Z. 18" rims 225/40/18 onto MY98 wagon, the backs are rubbing on the arch lips. Whats the best thing to do?

Thanks

Should be 225/35-18's. That's what they are on my P1 anyway. Think the 40 profile is for bugeyes

you can use either 215/35x18 or 225/35x18 on the classic. 225/40x18 is a bit large on the rolling diameter and will put your gearing/speedo out. you could get your rear camber increased slightly using camber bolts to give you enough clearance, or roll the rear arches.

Yep got 225/40s on mine.

Had 5 of us in the car the other idea - no probs

Mine hasnt been rolled. Just had p1 suspension fitted.

Apparently there is a strip under the wheel arch - have you taken this off?
