I've just bought some 17" team dynamics off ebay at a v.good price, was told they would fit straight on to an classic impreza with a 38mm offset but after reading a couple of threads am not sure now, has anyone bought similar alloys with that offset, will they fit ok? (was looking at Nexen N2000 tyres 215/40)

The offset is too low, they sound like VAG wheels! You need something between ET48 to ET55.

You can get away with ET45 offset wheels, but they will probably run on your rear arches!
