Question

Can you get GREEN STUFF pads for sti8. Not that i think pads need changing to improve bracking. Just Im sick of cleaning wheels all the time. Had them on my last scoob and thay seemed to give off very little dust.
Or is there another sort of pad that will help and give off less dust.
Thanks.

Red face

Neigh, neigh and thrice neigh.

It's a performance car so put performance pads in!

Green stuff are OK for small hot hatches but for an STi I would go for Mintex or Ferodo pads. Polish and wax the wheels so that the dust s easier to remove and wash the car more often

Ooh. Just fitted a set to my MY00.

In what way are they not good? Lack of bite?

Cheers,

Benji

I totally agree, I fitted some green stuff pads in the hope that they might improve braking and reduce dust. They have done neither, don't waste your money!

Question

I have EBC Green front pads on a MY97 Turbo for the last 10k kilos and found them to be at least on par with the OEM pads for normal road use. Wonder why all the negative opinion on them?
