What can I do to upgrade the sti 8 Brembos. Brake fade seems to be an issue.

What larger discs will fit, and can I use the 8's calipers?

what sort of "fade" are you getting??
this will influence any advice you may get.....
don't know of any larger disc upgrades at mo, would probs suggest AP's if they are that much of a problem........

Go for the cheap way first, pads and braided lines
The calipers are pretty good so i dont think its going to be those, also have you bedded them in properly??

I have WRX 03 PPP and have had the same problem from braking from very high speeds ie over 120mph have suffered big brake fade and terrible graunching sounds. when i stopped and got out of the car and looked at brakes the pads were smoking very badly and discs had gone a very dark brown colour. In general cross country driving the brakes are fine and i have had no problems, the car is also fitted with prodrive rims 18.I think i am going to go for God Speed 335 kit up front and his big brake kit on the rear with braided hoses to try and solve the problem on what is a great car just let down by poor standard brake set up IHO.
