Are the wheels from a 2002 model fir the classic?

YES

you should have a slightly smaller tyre than the MY02 but many on here run them until they need changing with no real problems

YEs, you ideally need to use 215/40 17's though, although there are p[eople using the 215/45 17's, but they're a bit close I think, I've got the 40's!!!
