Question

I'm looking to get my alloys to gold and went the DIY route, but stopped when I just couldn't get the paint off from all the nooks and crannies of the MY99 OEM wheel.

Now that they will have to be done by a company, do they take all the paint off anyway? or have I stripped too much off (its down to the bare alloy)?

Also, if you know a good place that does it in west london, let me know!

All paint is stripped away usually in a dishwasher type affair with solvents (some sand blasted).

Thats good - i've probably made their life easier by removing most of the paint of the rear wheel!

Do they need to take the tyre off for the process?
