OK, have have a couple of problems with the rear brakes on my MY98 Turbo.
Sometimes get a horrid squeal/screech from one side when coming to a halt, seems to go away with light pull on the handbrake.
Second, the other side, is squealling when driving once the brakes warm up. Light pedal pressure to hard braking there is no noise at all, but when not braking it's there - but only when the car warms up.
First problem sounds like it might be crap in the drum, but how does it come off ?
Second problem has been slightly improved by stripping off the caliper and cleaning up the runners etc on the pad, but it has not gone, so perhaps I need to have a second look.
Help/advice appreciated.

Hi Scratch,
To remove the drum disc assembly.
1. remove rear caliper.
2. look through the backplate(after removing the rubber plug) and you should see a toothed adjuster. Click this up/down (depending on which side) to slacken/tighten the rear shoes. I found a flat bladed driver with a long shaft worked best.
3. You can then lift the drum/disc assembly off.
Take care and don't force it. I broke some of the springs before I found out about the above adjuster.
Any problems just mail me.
Best regards,
Ian
