Stuck valve caps !!!!

Had put some aluminium valve caps on little while ago and now cant get the buggers off!!! Any suggestions - have tried pliers but dont want to rip valve out which is what almost happened!

Had the same thing on an old car of mine.
It was in for a service at the time and the dealer could not budge them either! ended up having to cut them off and get new valves in the end

I know that's not much use to you though!

I know it does not help now, but always wipe a bit of copper grease on the valve before putting these on....I found that out last week, having new tyres, when the fitter had to take a set of pliers to my caps

JOHN SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME YESTERDAY.
TRIED SPRAYING WITH SOME RELEASE AGENT BUT NO JOY,
AS WITH ANDY HAD TO CUT ONE OFF BUT ANOTHER ONE
SNAPPED VALVE CLEAN IN TWO. HAD TO GET NEW VALVE
YESTERDAY.
GOOD LUCK WITH YOURS ANY HOW.

Pain in the **** aint they. I squirted some WD40 on , left it for a day and then used pliers with an old rag to stop the pliers cutting/ripping the valve. Be careful when doing it. Loads of white bits where the metal has corroded away.

Thanks guys - in for a service on weekend so will try and shift them before then but looks like it may have to be new valves - and caps!!Will grease next set up !!
