Right, I live near Epsom in Surrey and I'm looking for advice on wheel refurbishers. Have gold wheels on my MY99 WRX which could do with a bit of tender loving care.

Anyone have any exeperience of refurbishers not a million miles away from where I live, and how much am I looking per wheel?

Cheers,
Andy

I used Surbiton Tyres (next to the Shell garage on the Hook roundabout over the A3)

It cost me £200 to have four 17" wheels powder coated in anthracite.

If you find somewhere cheaper, I'm interested in getting a set of 14" wheels done!

I'm looking for someone to do this in roughly the same area! A couple of years ago I had a mobile refurbisher do some wheels on my RX7, after about 1 months all the paint etc started to peel off and the wheels looked terrible!!!

I'll have my garage manager ask around and I'll let you know if I find anywhere local(ish)!!

Cheers
Dom.

I've heard good things about Surbiton Tyres, didn't use them myself as i wanted four Celica ST185 wheels done and they didn't have anything to 'loan' whilst they were being done. Ended up going to Mitcham tyres, cheap and cheerful, was about 3.5 years ago, the finish has held up really well, and they completely repaired the kerbing marks on the rim. Obviously this long ago its a tad historical, i am after getting four gold Super T's done, was thinking of going back there though. Cost £35 per rim as i remember.

Edited cos i forgot to put price in. Doh!
