I have had 4 wheel alignment done on my type R about 3 months ago at Elite near London.
Wasn't until last night when was under my car that I noticed the inside of the drivers side wheel and the outside of the passenger side wheel are now bald!
Since having the alignment done the steering aint level either (car going straight but steering wheel to the left a bit). Could the strange tyre ware be caused my the 4 wheel alignment that they done? Just seems odd that it’s inside of one and out side of the other (only on front, backs are fine).
Don’t wanna go putting new tyres on only to be worn out in another few months! Any ideas? I don’t drive it that hard either.
Was set to the prodrive settings so they say!

My steering wheel was about 40degrees in the wrong direction & i managed 2 make a nice set of toyos go balder than a school girls ****** on the inside (drivers side front) within 3 months of fitting. Got geoemtry dun sumwhere 4 less than a tun which helped feel etc out & tyre didnt get any balder (was it possible thou )
Anyway when sticking 18"ers on i got TSL 2 do the geometry thing & they were able 2 set up more accurately the hole elignment gfeometry tracking yady yady & bonus of altering steering wheel so pointing in right direction lol
Not exactly local 2 u i guess then but my advice go sumwhere that knows scoob has proper geometry set up & knows & can accurately set 2 decent angles etc etc

So in a word yes i will always now do proper set up with new tyres as it inevitably saves more rubber money than it costs & also makes car feel more poised

Yea shame TSL is so far away for me as they seem the place to go.
Elite did use their 4 wheel laser alignment gadget so they must have some idea what they are doing but could of at least got my steering straight!

Well thats what I thought?!?!?! I am going back to elite tom so will get them to sort it...hopefully!
These are what they call their "prodrive" settings? Not sure if there correct or not?
Would prefer to take it to TSL but it's a long way for me to go.

Rears are fine, well not wearing anyway.
Think they are set the same each side, not like how the fronts are i.e. different settings each side! don't make sense to me but what do i know
Rear settings:
Camber Left:
Initial = -0.39
Final = -0.40
Camber Right:
Initial = -1.02
Final = -1.00
Toe Left:
Initial = 0.03
Final = 0.03
Toe Right:
Initial = 0.04
Final = 0.04
Toe Total:
Initial = 0.07
Final = 0.07
Thrust Angle
Initial = -0.01
Final = -0.01
