Pressure on brake system ???
#1
I recently had a present from my girlie : the famous Training WRX book from MRT.
Now, in the chapter of track-days, they recommend to fit a tyre valve on the brake fluid container, so that you can add a little pressure on the system (about 3-4psi) not too much because otherwise the pads willoverheat, but just enough to make the pedal feel even more direct. The system is also used on the new Mercedes cars, but more complex, to dry the brake pads when wet and to add a touch of directness to the pedal.
It's also a solution for pad knock off.
Of course, the discs must be straight, the bearings not worn and everything else from the brake system must be in A1 condition..
Anyone had tried this one out ????
