Question

Got a new MY02 in September last year and whilst washing it at the weekend noticed that the inside of the front drivers tyre is nearly down to the wear marker!!!
The rest of the tyre has loads of tread along with the rest of the 3 tyres. I dont tend to drive it fast ALL the time and am very suprised at how quickly it has worn down.
Is this common??? is it just a tracking/allignment problem, or should I get in touch with the dealer??

I have tried to keep the car in best condition as it is the first brand new car I have had, hence not driving it like a loon!

It has the Bridgestone 03's and I have heard bad things but even still for this amount of wear I'm sure there must be a problem.

Please help a fellow Scooby Netter

Ross

The allignment on all new Subaru's is shall we say nicely WAY OUT,get it checked on a 4 wheel laser allignment unit and it will be fine.
My MY01 had the allignment done 4 times before it was correct each time eating the outside edge of my drivers tyre.

Common Problem on MY01's/02's...

Go get your tracking done by someone other than a Scooby Dealer!

TSL are worth a shout.
