In Evo this month the above seem to be fitted to the MY03 WRX and Golf R32.

How do they rate vs Toyos and Goodyear Eagles?

Use the Michelin Pilot Cups (road legal slick) which are superb in dry weather though expensive at 200 a corner and only last c 4000k miles.

Best used on track days !!!!!!!!

The brand new Pilot Sport is totally re-designed, asymetrical and has stiffer sides with different sorts of rubber for in and out sides. For example, it's homologated for the Porsche GT3 in first mounting. I'm looking to fit it on my STI. The only problem is that we don't have feedback about this fitment on this car.
I'm reading a test about the GT3 with some great pictures, on one of them I can see the car in great cornering and the Pilot Sport is still at the right place on the wheel, quite like when the car is running straight.

Really, it's difficult to chose the best tyre. Here, in Switzerland, the sports car drivers don't like the Good-Year GSD3 regarding it's smooth sides (can't verify if its real or not) however many of the ScoobyNetters like it, but all say that in the wet it's a perfect one.

Some of my friends driving STI with S-03 are not so impressed and apart that this tyre doesn't exist in 90W in 18'... the Michelin and the GSD3 yes.

I have heard only good comments for the above tires, unfortunately they aren't available for my new WRX03.
Although our tarmac is completely different from yours which is very important when buy tires.
