How many people on here have changed there tyres from the standard potenza's to other brands?
If so what other brands do you recommend?

Also how many people have kept the standard ones on and are happy with the handling with them?

Exclamation

When the wheels follow any irregularities in the road (ie. new tarmac following pipe laying) and any steering input fails to bring it back on line. Feels like the car has a mind of it's own for a split second or two.... you may feel a slight tug on the steering wheel as the tyres follow the natural line of any irregularities on the surface

My Bridgestone SO3's were particularly bad but I've heard they are much better on 17's. New Toyo's cured the problem though

I think most people have...

The potenza seems to go 'off' after about 4-5K miles (well on the '01/'02 models AFIAK) and then tramlines like a b******.

I switch to Good Year F1s, GSD2 on the WRX i had, and now GSD3 on my GX... superb tyre, done about 6K on them and they are still awesome wet or dry!

I have had SO'3's on a coupl eof cars and they are rubbish!! I have got Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's on my Jag and they are fantastic, when the F1's need changing I'll be replacing them with the P-Zero Rosso's!!

Saying that I did really love the SO2's...has anyone got any idea as to why the SO3's are so bad??????

F1's are pretty good as well!!

Dom.
