Question

I had a new set of pagid disks fitted to all four corners of my MY99 scobby wagon last week. Im very pleased with the brakes but have noticed rust forming on the hub of the rear disk. It appears to be a common thing with Impreza rear disks, does anyone have any advise for what I can paint onto the hub of the disk to stop it rusting ?

Cheers

Si.

Thumbs up

Hammerite works for me, lots of colours too, although silver, grey and black are probably best.

yep I agree.

Silver smooth finish hammerite. 2-3 coats. I used the spray, masking the braking surfaces and the threads. Seems to have lasted well so far...2 years and still not rusty.

I would reccomend you clean off the all the old rust first before painting (even if hammerite can be painted directly on rust)
