STI 7 Tyres - Dunlop 9090 any good?
#1
March is going to be a **** month. Insurance due, Service due, and now two fronts need replacing, both down to 3mm, near side outside is getting bald(must get camber checked).
Do I buy two Bridgestone RE040 as the rears still have 5mm or replace all 4?.
Usual suspects in mind.
F1's (had them on my My01 WRX and very pleased with them)
Toyos
SO3's.
Has anyone tried Dunlop 9090s. the review on mytyres.net is excellent. (£104each)

Not sure what actual model they are, but a friend recently got a set of 225/45x17 Dunlops fitted to his Legacy with STI7 wheels, after having the Bridgestones on his old wheels ( 214/45x17 ) and he says they are very good.

If you want to stay with RE040's (which aren't a bad tyre, IMHO), I have four part worn ones with about 4-5mm tread, never been kerbed, which you can have for £100 plus carriage the lot.
Mail me if interested.
