advice needed on wheels please
#1
can anybody advise,
i owned a 2000 x plate turbo saloon with 17" wheels and the car used to suffer really badly from tramlining, unexpectedly the car would grab a small lump or indentation in the road and pull across like mad,
recently i bought a wagon with standard 16" wheels on which was fine, ive just changed them for gold sti 16"s ( same wheels, different colour) and its started tramlinning like my last car!!
dont understand it there the same wheels?
any advice would be apreciated.
cheers ian.

The biggest problem will be with tyres, the 17's will be an improvement (ie less tramlining over the standard wheels/tyres) but it does really go on what shoes you put on your feet....
I myself run SO2 PP's on my 17's (unfortunately not available anymore ) but you could try the Toyo's or the Goodyear GSD3's as a replacement?
