9m or 9mm?

I haven't heard about any problems with Markus and his (quite large) spacers (so his Movit brakes fit) but I wouldn't feel comfortable with spacers as a long term thing on my car as it is used every day and clocks up a fair number of miles. I have no technical evidence to back this up though.
