Warped APs - cheaper replacements?
#1
I have a Scoobysport Brembo/AP 305mm setup but have warped the discs - new APs seem v expensive (especially if they warp) - so is there a cheaper unwarpable alternative ?
Also can larger diam discs be used with the same caliper ?
Any enlightnment appreciated.
Mark.

I had this problem on my WRX just before I sold it.
Pete C said he only knew of 3 or 4 sets warped out of 100's sold and that he would be happy to replace if they were found to be faulty.
I'm sure SS would happily look into your situation (dependant on age/mileage etc).
It may just be the pads smeared all over the discs, either way its worth a phone call.

There are unwarpable discs, (or what I am being explained are unwarpable discs). I will get those fitted on Friday and will be on the Nogaro race track (former F1 track) on Sat/Sun and report back If I could manage to warp them, if that's of help.
