Question

Right then,

Thinking about fitting Tar-Ox Japan Sport drilled & slotted disks and EBC Greeen Stuff front and back on MY99 RB5 (standard 4 pots)- should cost about £500 all-in plus fitting.

Anyone got any opinions or ideas on the move to this set up?

All comments appreciated...

Shanno

Think the Tarox discs will eat through pads in no time and there have been a few complaints in the past when using the EBC pads, perhaps the Mintex/Ferdos would be a better option. Sure someone else can comment.

EBC are about the worst pads out there. I have never heard a good comment about them. Or maybe once.

Grooved sounds ok. Separate bell or one piece?

Drilled are weaker than non drilled.

I ran these Tarox disks with ds2000 pads for a while - very good for road, still fade on track. It's a good combination and I didn't find the disks overly aggressive.....the same cannot be said for the ds2500 pads I tried...they finished the Tarox's off quickly, followed by a brand new OE set in 5 laps of Anneau du Rhin (1 warm up, 1 cool down)....aggressive pads, use with caution!

Okay fella's...

Ordered the Tarox Jap Sport Front disks, Tarox Front + Rear Pads from Jamie @ JW Racing tonight.

Still really stumped about what disks to get on the back?!?!?!

Looked at Red Dot 6 Slot, but the slot is more of a groove! Anyone know where you can get a true 6 slot rear disk???

PLEASE HELP! I'm going mad trawling the internet every night!!!

Cheers,

Shanno
