Will Golf wheels fit an impreza?

I've got a golf vr6 that I put some decent 17" wheels on about a year ago. I'm thinking of getting a classic MY99 or 00 impreza turbo, and I'm wondering if it would be worth keeping the wheels from the golf. The pcd is 5x100 and the ET (offset) is 38 I think. Bore is 56mm. Any ideas? Cheers.

that offset sounds about right! but also on the other hand they do also fit between the two car! my uk98 came to me with volkswagen offset as i soon found out after havin a new rear panel fitted! the arches had been rolled to suit but they d fit if ya do that!
