Toyo Proxies or Goodyear F1's
#1
Just about to purchase a set of wheels & tyres (Mille Miglia Evo's) for my classic MY00, but there is £80 (more) differnce in cost if I get Goodyears. The tyre size is 215/40x17. Are they £80 better than the Toyo's ? or is it a case of "you get what you pay for" ?
The car doesn't get any track use, and only little motorway miles, average annual mileage 10k.
Your thoughts welcomed.

On my last car I had the old Eagle F1s, then replaced them with 215/40/17 T1s and thought they were an improvement. I then replaced the T1s with Bridgestone SO3s and was even more impressed with those(!)
The new Eagle F1s are getting good write-ups but the Toyos aren't a bad tyre at all - if the price is right, go for it.
