I have 4 pot callipers, what disc and combo do people recomend with say £400-£500 to spend?

If you had a little more to spend you could go for the Godspeed 335mm kit (discs and pads etc.). Thats the one im going for as soon as pos.

I like that but I would need bigger wheels as well, I am considering their 294 mm discs with ali bells

dependant on use! you could stick with the std set-up and put either "gpN" or Pagid grooved discs together with an uprated pad like Ferodo ds2500, Pagid rs4.2.1/rs4.2, etc. all for under your budget!!
