Anyone come across wear on one front tyre only? My My02 has done 10,500 miles and I've just noticed that the fornt-nearside tyre is "removed of tread" on the outside edge. The rest of the tyre has plenty of tread, as do all 3 other tyres. I don't drive excessively around corners..just on the straights
Is it the camber or tracking that's out..or both?
Will have to pay a visit to ATS or somewhere, but don't want to be ripped of with the usual "we need to do the full lot sir"

When my MY96 did this, it was a knackered damper. I wouldn't expect it to be that in your case - I would say it is much more likely to be geometry related. I'm told that the factory tolerance is huge

Tony,
Dave is right, tolerences out of the factory are dreadful.
There is a small garage near me (even closer to you) that has just got 4 wheel laser alignment equipment, they also have a huge Toyo Proxies banner outside, I was going to contact them myself about getting my alignment sorted once I get the Eibachs on (I've only had them for 6 months!).
It's a bit off the beaten track so I'll mail you directions if you're interested.

I'd recomend getting an alignment check but don't be dissapointed if they don't find anything far wrong, the NSF always wears quicker on most cars, personally I think it's down to roundabouts but who knows!
