Anyone had the oem pads wear out on their STi7 yet? If yes, how many miles had you done?
I'm at 8k miles and one track day and I'm wondering if I need to start worrying....

I have done and they look lowish. That's why I'm asking!

Done 23,400 miles in car since mid January.
Been through 4 sets of front brake pads one set of rears and new set of front discs.
9 track days so far have taken their toll.

So fronts could go as quickly as 6000 miles then.
Thanks for the reply Grant.
I'm a bit worried about you saying you went through front disks as well!

I do not think that in normal use the discs will go anywhere near as quick as mine did and would not worry about them to much.
Jamie at Performance Exhausts is now doing a new range of uprated pads and discs from our friends down-under.

But I plan to do as many track days as I can next year
What was the sign that the discs were going? Is it simply the thickness of them?
