Since there are loads of debates about pads and discs, I was wondering what fluids people are using. I am now using Silkolene Pro race 2000 with standard 4 pots. I know DaveW uses AP Racing 600. What about anyone else?

depends on use we recomend std Wurth dot4 for most people if they are not doing track days, Silkolene "pro-race 2000" for everything up to and including competition and sometimes AP 600 (only downside with 600 is that you have to keep on top of it to get the best out of it and it WILL NOT mix with other fluids....)

Use standard DOT4 myself, but having just managed to get my hands on some Castrol SRF for £20 a litre, I'll be giving it a go. Apparently it's meant to be the poodles parts of fluids.

I've got Castrol somethingorother DOT 4+ at £10/litre from Halfords, its reccommended for motorsport and resists water like a DOT 5 according to the bumfph on the container! Have to say on the road its rather good, full test next trackday.....
