Question

Does anyone know who supplies a direct replacement for the Alcon/Prodrive 330mm disc? (P1 upgrade version)

By this I mean a combined disc & bell setup that drops straight in without having to be 'specially made'?

The Alcons are a horrific price for a one piece setup and I need to replace them quite urgently.

I have tried a number of suppliers, all are interested but none have offered anything yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steve.

Ian Godney @ Godspeed can help. I've also heard that someone had some bells made @ Hi-Spec which allowed him to use Hi-Spec discs.

Thanks for that Stefan, yep he can do a 325mm I believe, bells have to be made. Its certainly an option. I'm based in Lancashire, near Bury, I would really like someone closer that I could go see and get something fitted.

Any others?

Steve.

Thumbs down

I've got a the Alcon Calipers on my RB5...... The cheapest option for replacement dics was indeed Godspeeds disc and bell setup. This was still way over my budget though, so on Friday..... off come the Alcons and back goes the original calipers. I have to admit though, having driven another impreza that had the standard 4 pot calipers but pagid discs and pads, I wanted to bin the Alcons anyway!!!!! The cost of the Alcons and replacement discs etc just don't match the performance, IMHO.
