Have fitted Pagid Blues on the front and have been singing their praises ever since. Until the other day...

Had the opportunity for some really hard driving (within speed limits of course) no sprogg or wife to stem my enthusiasm.

I was braking later and later into corners and the Pagids were performing great then all of a sudden BRAKE FADE!!

Got away with it 'just' but very scary the way they were fine one second and then split second later PAAAARRRPPPPP!!!!!

Any ideas? Has anyone else had this happen? Brake fluid upgrade required?

Seepy

I've just got some pagid blues off Alyn after seeing your other post but haven't been able to fit them yet - but surely even if they do fade they can't possibly be as bad as the EBC's i've got on now. Can they?

you boiled the fluid by the sounds of it, did the pedal go very soft?

the pagid's as Alyn will tell you can run stupidly hot, unfortunately the fuild can't always keep up.

Castrol SRF and silkolene race whatever (the expensive one) are the ones I know of that are very high temp fluids.

perhaps you should have just gone faster round the corners?

Alyn,

Sorry I've been away for a couple of days, haven't kept up with my post.

The pedal didn't go soft, best way I can describe it would be to brake on tarmac and then onto a patch of grass e.g. feels like you accelerate all of a sudden. It could be that I locked up but it was a bone dry day, no sign of the ABS activating, no tyre screech. Have done this corner twice a day every work day so know it very well.

What do you reckon? P.S. have changed my profile, you should be able to e-mail me now.
