Question

Am after a set of tyres and have been offered Uniroyal Rainsport 1s in a 205/45x16, fitted & balanced for £70 each. I was initially a bit dubious, but after a bit of research found that they won a recent test in the German 'Auto Motor un Sport' magazine, and seem to have very high ratings elsewhere.

Ideally I'd like either Toyo Proxes or the new Goodyear F1 GSD-3, but they work out significantly more expensive ...

So, has anyone got any comments on the Uniroyal Rainsports? They sound perfect for our British weather ...

Andrew

Good very wet grip because of huge drainage channels and soft sidewalls. Crap in the dry - major understeer - because of huge drainage channels and soft sidewalls Couldn't wait to get them off.

Richard.
