Anybody had this problem on a 01 with geniune lock nuts, best tools for removal?

I think the dealer overtighten them on last service at 17.5 K. Dealer problem ?

Defo dealer prob. Don't touch 'em, they'll duck it if you do.

Interesting, the dealer change all the locking wheel nuts for a new design FOC, perhaps Subaru are aware of this problem.

thats good to do it foc if i remember they used to have loads of splines down the sides and after a while use of air tools weather it be dealers or tyre fitters used to round them off. the type we get through now are mcguard with a channel cut in to the topquite good as i use them on my car just some people think they stick out to far.

There is a tool u can get off a snap-on dealer to take off locking wheel nut's if he's a good bloke he should borrow u it
because i had this problem with another car and he borrowed it me!
