Girlfriends V reg Clio. 30K miles

New pads 2K miles aog, bedded in nicely.

Now after 10 mins or so of driving, a high pitch, very loud squeel can be heard from both front wheels when driving in a straight line, goes with brake pressure, usually goes when turning even slightly! The noise is unbarable!!!!

The disks don't look too worn (no lip), although they are a little curved, ie the parallelism has gone.

The guy at the garage is suggestign pistons?

Any thoughts??? My 1st idea was to fit new disks & pads.

Have you tried coating the back of the pads with copper grease?
