Hi All

Does anyone have any ideas about the following, my description of the noise is strange, but bear with me!

It has only happened 4-5 times and only seems to start at very low speed, eg 20mph, around 1500-2000 rpm (yes, i was stuck in a jam!)

Sounds a bit like when you rub your finger around the rim of a wine glass (u know what i mean...) The noise gets faster as the wheels are going around faster but as the car speeds up it slowly disapears. It will sometimes come back as i slow down but most of the time it does not come back. The noise also seems louder inside the cabin.

Does anyone have any ideas what this may be?
much appreciated

Adam

Could be a stone stuck in one of the calipers, could also be stone gaurd rubbing the back of the disc.
