Question

Was planning my next upgrade to be the brakes on the car (MY01).

Should i go for AP or Prodrive (and keep my warranty)?

Anybody got the Prodrive upgrade, are they any good?

AP's

The Alcons are pretty good but for the price of them you can get a 330mm AP set up, and i rate the AP's as a better braking system

AP's. When you need to replace the discs on the Alcon/Prodrive kit, you will be looking at about £500 a set of discs.

I have a MY01 which has now been fitted with 6pot AP's the difference is incredible between the OE 4pots and AP's ! You can run slicks with no brake fade on track, which is why I went for the 6 pot's instead of 4 pot's

Already saved me one insurance excess, guy just stopped for no reason 3 cars in front resulting in the usual bump, bump with a stoppie from me !

AP's every time - You'll only loose the warranty on the brakes which you'll get some warranty on anyway wouldn't you?
