Question

Unfortunately I'm not very careful with my wheels and I now have a set of square TSW 17" alloys. Problem is what to replace them with. What I really need is something which is relatively cheap, looks OK and is strong - I know that's a bit of a contradiction. Thing is, I want them to look OK for the road, but able to stand the odd trip round a special stage when I go marshalling. Have been recommended Prorace1 (thanks Paul), but despite listing them on their website, Rimstock haven't made a 17" with 50mm offset and have no plans to do so. TSL's forged wheels sound good but they are a bit out of my range. I’m working on the assumption that OEM wheels are going to be strong so I’m looking for P1 OZ or standard 5/6 spoke. Anyone have any other suggestions?

I've heard that Raceline RL7's are very strong and cost about £130 each.
