Hi All
I plan change my discs and pads (TarOx/1155). Scoobysport claim that pads+discs kit is best from all. I would like know how big is performance gain with MY98 2 pots (OE vs Pagid) and if they worth for this money?
Many thanks
Erik
P.S.
Yes I know 4pots are better but I have no chance buy it from seconhand

BIG DIFFERENCE
And I have a MY01
Several Companies offer the Group N+ upgrade with various disk/pad combinations
I have no complaints with Scoobysports Pagid Setup

I'm currently about to upgrade my OEM discs and prodrive pads to either the Scoobysport Group N Pagid kit or the TSL Brembo discs and DS2500 Pads. Does anyone have any views on which of these two options is the better?
Cheers

Hi Erik,
I had the SSport Grp N+ kit fitted to my Terzo MY98 2pot.
Huge plus with the braded hoses etc.
My first two mods were that and the bump stear setup from Power Station. Made the biggest difference in handeling in two hits.

Pagids are superior to Ferodo: they are organic (do not eat your disc for breakfast) but still have a high friction coefficient. They do almost not squeal either, when Ferodos are a PITA!
Make sure you ask for Pagid RS14, nothing less. This is the best brake pad you can get.
As for discs, go for two piece discs with a separate bell if you have warped them before, otherwise replace with grooved discs.
Make sure you get steel braided brake hoses and DOT 5.1 fluid.

Claudius,
Thanks for the advice. One question, is it possible to get a two piece disc (ie separate bells and discs) as a direct replacement for the the OEM disc? All the kits on offer (ie Scoobysport, TSL etc) seem to be one piece.
Cheers

Oh many thanks for many replyies
My present setup is front TarOx 40 grooved + 1155 and rear OE+1155. Mintex pads are cool but really discs eater so I`am looking for another one with good mileage (1155 in in half wear with cca 15 000km) and stopping power.
How is it with Pagids?
And do you have rear disc/pad too or front is enough?
Thanks
Erik

Erik,
You really need to upgrade your brakes.
I'm sure there is people who have upgraded to AP kits selling their 4 pots. Have you looked in the For sale section? Have you put a message in the Wanted section? Have you emailed the people selling and installing AP kits to find out if they have OEM stuff laying around?

These'll only fit 4 pots, but are a big step up over std stuff while maintaining the std diameter. 2 piece, tend to be less expensive than big name stuff - work plenty well!!
