Got the new Prodrive 18" wheels to fit them on my 98MY GT.
Decided to match them with S-03 225-35-18 tyres and the result is that wheels almost catch the arches.
Car has the Prodrive suspension which lowers it about 2,5cm.
Prodrive's suggestion was to go for Pirreli tyres which are different on sidewalls.
The problem is : I dont like Pirellis as had them on the 16" sd wheels and was not impressed and dealer does not change the non used at all S-03.

Any one else with the same problem could help?

If, I change the suspension in order to give a little more height at the rear what to go for?

If it's only close on the rear why not just roll the arches back a bit? Get it done by a professional bodyshop though - they'll heat treat the area first so the paint doesn't crack.

Richard,

Dont know if that is the best way to solve tha problem. It is uncertain if it can be loaded with two rear passengers without problems.

Nobody else had the same problem with 18" wheels on old shape and Prodrive suspension?
